| the blood brothers show was fucking INCREDIBLE. i mean, beyond belief. they just have such a good live show, even if there were some assholes in the pit. they played a 14 song set and ended with shame. how fucking awesome. i can't even begin to describe. i took a video of shame on my phone, but check out the link below for my write up of the concert, the set list, and a slideshow that includes video of "set fire to the face on fire", random pictures, and a very short clip of love rhymes. http://speakeasymag.com/index.php/entertainment/article/ent_110506_bloodbrothers

| My review of Young Machetes just got posted on www.speakeasymag.com . | I can't even begin to tell you guys how much I am loving Young Machetes. This album is surreal. I pirated an incomplete version months ago, but I bought it the second it came out at the local record store here in Athens.
Update on Andy's life (assuming anyone still remembers who I am). It is quite possible that I may be coming home next weekend. This would be incredible and much needed. I'm also writing for an underground online student magazine at OU for the entertainment section, reviewing albums and live shows and the such. My review of Young Machetes should be up by Monday at the latest (assuming my editor isn't a douche) but I also have a review of the Thermals album The Body, The Blood, The Machine up there. Anyone who reads this xanga would probably appreciate the Thermals. They're incredible. I'd recommend the album Fuckin' A though, as I think it's much better than their other stuff. Anyways, if anyone cares to read my reviews online, I'd love feedback. I don't need anyone to fellate my ego, I need to learn where I need to improve, so be as harsh as you want.
